About Us

Our vision is to be a trusted African industrial partner, building sustainable economic value from local resources.

About Okuni Africa: Your Partner for Enhanced Mining and Heavy Industrial Performance

Mining and the heavy industrial sector are high-stakes environments. Teams face relentless pressure in ensuring continuity of production: unplanned breakdowns that halt output, reactive maintenance cycles that drain budgets, hidden inefficiencies that erode margins, underperforming assets that slow production, with stretched internal resources trying to manage it all.

Okuni Africa exists to change that reality. As a 100% Namibian-owned engineering and technical services company, we position ourselves as a business performance partner. We’re not just another contractor or supplier; we work alongside your teams as an extension of their capacity, providing managed technical support, practical site execution, and one clear point of accountability to protect production, reduce operational pressure, and drive measurable improvements in reliability, efficiency, and profitability.

Built on respect, servant-based leadership, purpose-driven passion, ownership, and lifelong learning, we are committed to building sustainable value in Namibia’s mining and industrial ecosystem.

Our Unique Approach: Managed Technical Support That Delivers Business Results

We do not replace your internal teams.

We strengthen them, bringing additional focus, structure, skills, and disciplined execution. The result is greater confidence in operations, reduced risk, better asset performance and improved bottom-line outcomes.

Founded by Elfrieda Roos, Okuni Africa combines real-world operational insight with technical depth and a commitment to measurable outcomes. We understand the pressures on-site because we’ve been there, and we’re passionate about helping Namibian industry succeed.

We start with your biggest challenges: unreliable assets, maintenance backlogs, commissioning risks, and stretched teams. Then we deliver structured, accountable support that strengthens, rather than replaces, your internal capability.

We provide more than technical services. We deliver managed solutions that reduce risk, improve reliability, and support sustained production performance.

We are true partners, operating with boots on the ground. We work with you on site, understanding your challenges and constraints. On site, boots on the ground, we solve the problem with you on site, understanding you challenges and constraints.

Our Passionate Team

Our team is composed of professionals who value respect, lifelong learning, and servant-based leadership. We combine senior-level technical insight with a “can-do” execution mindset to solve complex industrial challenges.
